It is an electrical alarm apparatus that is located in a fixed place that works constantly that can give out a visual and audible alarm.
What's more, there's a linkage type for choice. It can produce an alarm signal to the valve to shut off gas source when the gas co-
ncentration is above alarm set point.

Installation :

Natural gas that is lighter than air is comprised of methane gas, in case of gas leakage; gas rises towards ceiling and accumula-
tes in areas near ceiling. Therefore, for natural gas, the alarm apparatus shall be located in a position of 30 cm under the ceiling
and 1.5-4 meter(s) away from gas supply as projective.
 
LPG that is comprised of mixture of propane and butane is heavier than air. In case of gas leakage, LPG falls down to ground.
Therefore, for LPG, the alarm apparatus shall be located in a position of 30 cm above the floor and 1.5-4 meter(s) away from gas.

It shall be attached importance to places having the biggest potential of gas accumulation while determing location of the gas alarm
device. The apparatus shall not be located on following places:

-Over the oven and chimney hood -Smelly places
-Near to vacuuming fan(exhaust fan etc.) -Directly over a sink
-Closed places(e.g. inside a cupboard or behind curtain) -Vaporous places
-Near to door or window
 
-A place of which temperature is under 0℃ and over +55℃ -A place in which dirt and dust may block the detector
 
-Wet and moist places
 
-Gas detector shall be assembled in an area which air movements may not be blocked by furniture or wares.
-Location of the detector shall not be very close to apertures and ventilation channels as air stream may be greater and gas conce-
ntration may decrease.
-The apparatus shall not be assembled over or near to gas appliances as small gas leakages that may lead to undesired alarms will
occur when it starts to operate.

Operation :

1. Plug in the apparatus.

 2. Three lights(Green, Yellow, Red) flash. (For regular type, there’s also a voice prompt when the apparatus is plugged in.)

 3. Wait for 3 minutes(Regular Type)/10 seconds(Customized Type) for warm-up of the apparatus; do not apply gas to test
during the warm-up state because the gas will not be detected .

4. For regular type, in the state of warm-up, short pressing test button can switch language(Chinese and English language switc-
hing).

5. In the state of warm-up, long pressing the test button will skip warm-up. (Note: Don’t skip warm-up.)
 
6. Warm-up finished, there's a voice prompt and green led light is always on.
 
7. In working state, press the test button, the three lights flash and there's a voice prompt.

8. The apparatus gives out a voice prompt and red light on it flashes when the gas concentration is above alarm set point, visual
and audible alarm continues until ambient gas volume falls below alarm set point.

9. Apply for the service if the yellow led light on the apparatus flashes.
 
10. If the gas detector is connected to valve, please check whether they are operating or not. (Manipulator Valve: Press test button
to close/open valve, or pull the ring of valve to open valve. Solenoid Valve: Press test button to close valve, pull up the red handle to
open valve. )

11. If the gas detector is wired networking type. There are three wires:
 
Yellow Wire = Relay (Common) COM contact. Blue Wire = Relay (Normally open) NO contact. White Wire = Relay Normally closed) NC
contact.The above three wires only need to be connected if you intend to trigger an external device such as a siren or monitoring system.

12. If the gas detector is DC power supply. There are two wires: Red Wire =Positive Power Input  Black Wire = Negative power input.The e-
xtern power must be connected to a permanent 12V/24VDC.
